Its with sadness, but also great pleasure that the under 8’s have to say goodbye to Max Loker. Max has been offered a contract by Cambridge United to join their elite squad for the under 9’s next season. Max has been awesome for our under 8 team this season scoring 62 goals for the team. Max has one of the best attitudes in the team and myself and Ian will be sad to see him go, but also pleased to see him go on to greater things. I’m very sure the rest of the team also the parents will join me and Ian in wishing Max the best of luck at Cambridge United. Well done Max. |

My name is Andy King, I am a Level 2 qualified goalkeeping coach and I run the FIND US KEEPERS Goalkeeping School at weekends at Witchford Village College, Witchford, near Ely.
This successful school, which is open to boys and girls, has been running since April 2006 and several members of the group have progressed to County level and above.
Saturdays = For the U11s upwards. 10am-11am at £6
Sundays = U11s downwards. 9.30am–10.30am at £5

We are looking for any parent helpers, male or female, who are interested in helping coach the under 7's academy next year. With Simon moving up to under 8's we are in desperate need of extra help. There is normally 30 kids every Monday night and with only Paul & Nigel so far signed up for next year we desperately need 1 if not 2 more coaches. The club will pay for you to complete your level 1 FA coaches course if you are interested.

DIRECTIONS: Mildenhall stadium is located in the village of West Row, three miles from Mildenhall town centre.
From the A11 Barton Mills 'fiveways' roundabout, go past the school/sports centre on the left straight over a small mini roundabout. Go straight over the traffic lights, and then over a set of pedestrian lights. Just beyond the lights you will come to another mini roundabout.
Take the middle junction signposted to Mildenhall Stadium and West Row. Upon exiting the roundabout, follow this road for 1.5 miles passing the RAF Mildenhall Air Base on your right. You will come to a T junction, turn left for 40 metres and take the next right which is signposted Mildenhall Stadium. The stadium is situated 1.5 miles down this road on the left hand side. |

Under 7's Acadamy
Winter training will commence the first Monday of October 2007 and run through to the end of March 2008.
Training will start at 5.45 for an hour in the Witchford Village College gym.
Please remember all players must wear clean trainers and should bring water. |
